A week ago today, I was anxiously working alongside a few of the few remaining exhibitors, bringing in the last of their furniture, setting up. Getting ready. Prepping the Bleeding Heart Gallery for the doors to open to the second A Very Vintage Wedding Fair. This time I was doing it solo… and I was excited to share with you all these amazing people.
I went to sleep with the same questions rolling around and around in my head. Would it be a success? Would you all come? Had I done enough to let you know all about it, to make sure you knew it was happening? Would rain keep everyone away? Were there going to be enough slices of the Bleeding Heart’s legendary carrot cake?
Saturday came and the sun was out and I breathed my first massive sigh of relief! Sunshine! We were there early, we worked hard. We all set up. We got the hall ready, the stands looking beautiful and along you all came! In fact there was a queue forming before we even had a chance to open the doors.
Amazing!
Thank you to each and every one of you who did come and join us. It was such a fabulous weekend and so great to be a part of. I wandered around seeing so many smiles, hearing gasps of absolute delight when brides wandered into the Vintage Wardrobe and overheard the most lovely comments on how nice everyone was.
Here are just a few taster images to share with you of some of the amazing talent we had join us. I hope that for those of you who came along, you walked away inspired and with lots of ideas for your wedding days and for this of you who could not make it, I hope this blog has given you lots of new ideas and contacts for your own weddings. Have a truly magical time.

So that was the fair. A huge thank you again to all those who came along, and if you did come along and need a reminder on who you met… our Exhibitor Directory has everyone listed there! To finish off my Oscar’s speech, I would also like to thank this who gave their time on Saturday and Sunday to help out… Ang, Jen, Sarah and Katrina. Dean for getting stuck in and doing whatever needed to be done. Mum and Dad for allowing me to work so much over their holidays and the lovely Elle and her team at the Bleeding Heart for being so bloomin’ amazing! Thank you.
See you soon!
